Machu Picchu, the sacred City of the Inca Civilization is located high in the mountains of Peru. It was rediscovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham, an American professor of history and explorer, when he was guided to it's location by a Peruvian farmer. Our trip begins at the Sun Gate, the termination point of the legendary Inca Trail and the entrance to Machu Picchu.
